«SAINT-VINCENT AFFICHE» Exhibition at the Château du Clos de Vougeot
The first retrospective on the 45 original posters that illustrated the famous festival of the Saint Vincent rotating in Burgundy from 1971 to today.
A unique exhibition to discover in the Grand Cellar of the Clos de Vougeot Castle. The Confrérie of Chevaliers of Tastevin unveils the genuine posters of the feast Of the "Saint-Vincent tournante de Bourgogne" of which it is at the origin, thanks to the provision of a private collection. Every year since 1971, the presentation of the poster is a first step in the official launch of the festival of the Saint Vincent rotating Burgundy, which continues year after year in a different village of the region. Each of these posters, imagined and realized by local artists (such as Henri Vincenot, Joyce Delimata, Gérard Puvis, Micha, Michel Faget and many others), bear a unique character and give a specific identity to each village that hosts this event .
An event that has become a must in Burgundy, the Confrérie suggests take a look back over this annual celebration of which it is at the origin, paying tribute to the authors of these forty-five posters and allowing to revive the collective memory of these past editions.
