Find
your "tastevinés" wines : The batches listed hereafter, selected by the Tastevinage jury, must
not be taken to be in order of merit. This list is not exhaustive. Certain of
those who submitted wines are not in it, because their wines have been sold
or reserved.
Règles
Each batch remains the exclusive property of the growers
or merchants who have produced them. The latter are free to price them as they
see fit, and to sell them to their regular customers, to the members of the
Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin and to wine-lovers in general.
Consequently, the present 'Armorial des vins de Bourgogne tastevinés' carries
no information about prices or conditions of sale. This information may be obtained
from the growers themselves, or their agents or stockists.
For each batch which has been put through the process of Tastevinage, an approved
laboratory analysis has been carried out and a sample bottle bas been deposited
with the organisers at the Château du Clos de Vougeot, in order for control
checks to be possible. The sample bottles may easily be found in the cellar
where they are laid by the six-figure reference number given in the Armorial.
The Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin remains foreign to any commercial transaction
involving the wines that have been through the Tastevinage, and may not be cited
as guarantor when wine is offered, bought or paid for.
